A new limited documentary series on Sean “Diddy” Combs, The Reckoning, co-produced by 50 Cent and directed by Alexandria Stapleton opens with previously unseen footage filmed six days before the music mogul’s federal indictment on racketeering and sex-trafficking charges.

The video, which Combs’ team calls “illegal” and “stolen,” appears to have been shot by a videographer he hired, capturing him in a New York hotel room speaking with attorney Marc Agnifilo. Filmmakers say they obtained the material after Combs’ arrest on September 16, 2024.

In the series, Combs laments mounting lawsuits and the intensifying federal probe, insisting he must “fight for his life,” while sharply criticizing his legal team’s communication.
